Susan's journey into design began with a personal passion for remodeling her own home, which inspired her to pursue formal education in interior design. As a Registered Interior Designer, Susan has the authority to apply for construction permits in many states, ensuring projects are completed quickly and with integrity. Her NCIDQ certification demonstrates her comprehensive knowledge of building codes and industry standards.

Based in Hinsdale, Susan has built strong relationships with local trades and contractors, allowing for seamless project planning and execution. Her specialty is in reimagining spaces––whether it be problem-solving existing issues, finding one-of-a-kind pieces, or creating breathtaking sight lines.

Susan connects with the local community with pro bono work, ensuring better housing for underserved populations. Most recently, her work focused on a four-story women’s shelter in Chicago: building connections with leadership, restoring bedrooms, and creating safe and comforting common spaces for staff and guest families. As year-end approaches, Susan uses a portion of her profits to purchase items from the wishlist of children served by CASA of Kane County, an advocacy group for children in abuse and neglect cases.

“I look for inspiration by imagining the role and purpose of a new space. But I am even more inspired when I learn about you, so I can understand what the space is helping you achieve.”

Let’s talk.
